This is a story of one’s past lives. A paranormal look back into the author’s previous lives, thus a true experience account. This is the first book (novella) reflecting love and loss, despair and deceit through the first life as Stephen Williams in 1731, in London. Stephen is working at the Fox Tavern when young, very pretty Sarah Todman starts working there. The two of them are quick to fall in love but just as quickly Sarah is kidnapped. This short story is well written and enthralling. It’s a fast page-turner and you’ll want more to read from this fine author.

I am also a believer in past lives and I can remember some of my past life, so the concept behind this book was immediately of interest to me. I have a strong belief that my mother in this life was also my mother in a past life – somehow it is strangely comforting to know that we do meet up again with loved ones time and time again but as different actors in a different play.
An interesting picture of the hustle and bustle of 1700’s London with the Thames full of merchant vessels dropping off wares from the newly discovered West Indies; royalties from Arabia and Moors from Africa. London is quite bewildering for Sarah who is from the countryside.
